Course Overview
This course will identify and define the core elements of every complaint: What, Who, When, and Where requirements are needed for an actionable complaint. An understanding of these elements equip the reporter to provide specific, objective information necessary for a reviewer to verify the allegations and initiate an inquiry. Without these basic details, a complaint often lacks the supporting information to move past the preliminary review phase – resulting in delays or dismissals.
Objectives
  • Distinguish and explain the What, Who, When, and Where requirements necessary to form an actionable complaint.
  • Understand and appreciate the procedural consequences of missing information and why accuracy is vital for reviewing a complaint.
  • Identify the additional requirement for Non-APS Activities complaints.
